Wishing a happy retirement to Ranay Roth and Bev Dunn! Ranay has served as a teacher, principal, athletic director, and child nutrition director for Perry Public Schools - a total of 39 years. Bev is retiring after providing transportation needs for the school district for the past 33 years. Thank you for your service to Perry Public Schools!


Perry Public Schools has named Mike Carmin as the principal for Perry Junior High School. Carmin joined Perry Public Schools in 2019 as the high school social studies teacher and coach. He has nearly 30 years of experience in education and athletics. He is also serving as the district athletic director. Click the headline to read more.

May Student of the Month

Congratulations to our May students of the month. Lower Elem- Shikebo Saidalieva, 2nd grade; Upper Elem-Cale Sparks, 3rd grade; JH-Peyton Reaves, 7th grade; HS-Perry Lansden, 12th grade.


This Tuesday, May 10 is the Perry Elementary School’s annual Penny Arcade, Science Fair, and Arts & Authors Night. Families are welcome to this come-and-go event from 5:30-7:00 p.m. at the lower and upper elementary school sites. Bring your pennies to hear about history figures from students in costume, view science projects, and explore classroom art and writing assignments.

Congratulations and good luck to our track & field state qualifiers! The class 3A OSSAA state track meet will be held at Western Heights High School in Oklahoma City this Friday, May 6 and Saturday, May 7. Day 2 Baseball Regionals

The Maroons baseball team will be playing at Riverside Indian School in Anadarko Friday at 4pm

Day 2 games at Riverside (Anadarko) - tickets online $7 or at the gate $10 cash.


Elementary yearbooks are in! If you pre-ordered a yearbook, it went home in your child’s backpack this week. For those who still want to purchase one, they’re $30 each. Contact the lower or upper elementary office to claim yours!


Perry Basketball Camp is scheduled for May 16-May 18, 2022 from 9 a.m. - 12 p.m. at the Maroon Athletic Center in Perry. This day camp is for boys and girls entering 3rd-7th grades in the fall of 2022. Campers will learn a variety of skills, participate in competitions, and interact with current PHS basketball athletes. Please complete the registration form and return it to the Perry High School office, or bring it to the first day of camp. The fee is $50 per camper and all campers will receive a t-shirt.

The track meet for 1st-6th graders on May 4th has been canceled due to wet field conditions and the likelihood of more rain forecasted tomorrow. This event will not be rescheduled. Students will still need to bring a sack lunch as planned.
